Woohoo
Monday 22nd May
I’ve just realised… this week is the last week I’ll do more than 2 consecutive days at work until the start of July.
Woohoo!
It was a hint from a colleague - take every Wednesday in June. That way you have a month of relaxation and two Fridays per week (one virtual, one real) and only use four or five days of holiday to do it. Great plan.
Good plan, stu

Mm, sounds like a good plan but I’m not allowed to take Wednesdays off unless it’s a real emergency (we do Something Important on a Wednesday, except it isn’t and I’m not all that convinced that it’s really necessary for me to actually be involved). And anyway, I’ve just applied for a new job, so it might all be a moot point.

I’m taking tomorrow off work, too! I’m droping T off at work before heading to the New Forest to bag a load of caches… it beats having meetings and I need to catch up with Gottle

It’s a good plan.
At my last job I worked Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, which was brilliant. It meant I never worked more than 2 days in succession and two ‘weekends’ every week.

I must try that, especially since the weeks seemt o be dragging at the moment and I could do with more time at the lottie!

i was never allowed to have unorthodox holidays like this. my applications for unusuals were regarded with deep suspicion like if i took say two days off a week for four weeks that must mean i was getting MORE than eight days holiday.
two weeks in greece good, four long weekends (presumably doing something satanic) bad.
tchoh! donkeys.
