Going into the hairdressers and when they say “What would you like today?”, saying “I’ll leave that up to you.”
I think it’s ok. It’ll need a little training before it works how she intended, but she explained all of that at the time.
And no, I don’t look like Lurch.
She gave you a blue rinse, didn’t she?

I do that all the time, but with the added proviso “just as long as nobody will laugh at me”. Strangely, I get the same haircut every time, and nobody has laughed at me - well, at least not to my face anyway.

I’ve only ever told a hairdresser to do what they want once. They shaved my head.
Five years later, I realised they were right, and that’s exactly what I get every time.

Bah! Hairdressers….. got fed up with them…. hence I always cut my own hair these days….. Ok so I DO look like lurch…. but have saved a few quid….
