Well, who’d have thought it. There I was thinking that avian flu would affect me in no way at all, and suddenly I notice that feather shuttlecocks have gone up about 25% in price.

Good job we use synthetics.

    funny that the price has gone up, i would have thought that the price of all things feathery would have plummeted, given the circumstances.

  2. A good chum of mine demonstrated a rather fab joke. All you need is a handful of feathers. Select your victim (old ladies on buses are good). Cough into your fist as you normally might, and blow the feathers out. Follow up with “I’m sorry, I think I’m coming down with bird-flu”.

    I’m certainly tempted. :)
