Astounding
Sunday 24th September
An astounding piece of engineering, and just as astounding puppetry. You may have seen this before - it’s from The Sultan’s Elephant, a three-day free show put on in London earlier this year.

Yeah - amazing! I’ve no idea how that little girl managed to move all of those teensy puppets in such a lifelike manner.

It’s ace music, isn’t it? It’s “Decollage” by “Balayeurs du Désert” and I’ve put it here for your temporary downloadification. I believe it was written especially for the show.

Heh, on first glance I thought “It’s big, it’s civic, it’s successful, it must be French!” and that seems to be backed up by the music choice! I love the frenchies, they know how to do cool public stuff (like the frenchie who lit up the minster for last guy fawkes’ night)
