Good to see they’re handling the Bristol Airport thing well…
A spokeswoman for Easyjet said: “We are operating 60% of the Bristol operation out of Cardiff but we are suffering delays of around three hours because passengers need to check in at Bristol first.
“We need to get the message out that travellers need to check in at Bristol first of all because people are turning up at Cardiff directly.”
What kind of idiot thinks they should go to the airport they’re flying from to check in, rather than a different airport 45 miles away? Gosh, some people!
This is what fundamentally scares me about flying - it’s not really the flying itself, as I understand the technology behind it. It’s rather the morons (sorry Aviatrix, not you) that run the show.

I flew Ryanair recently for the first time - it would have been twice but the flight out got cancelled owing to fog. Not that that was Ryanair’s fault, but they had to run several coaches to bring passengers from 3 arriving flights down from Liège, obviously they were too cheap to run any of them back again to take away the people waiting in Charleroi. But Charleroi will get the equipment necessary to handle fog in Spring 2008…
