Wednesday 28th March
Happy Birthday (0th) to Adam’s Tiny, new son of Simon’s Tall and Fran’s Not Hiding A Space Hopper Under Her Jumper Any More.
Born at 6pm yesterday in the shadow of Big Ben (I’m not sure what they were doing sitting on Wesminster Bridge at the time, but there you go). 8lb 1oz. All doing well.
And can I be amongst the first to say… Oh my god! What have they done! I bet his first word is “Indigo”. Can the world really take another ‘S Tall and the bad jokes which are sure to come? ![]()
Well it certainly scans like English, but I have no clue what you are whittering on about young Stu.
Had any death threats yet?
Seems a blogger isn’t a real blogger until you get death threats nowadays.

Well, rollasoc, Simon’s Tall is a friend and ex-colleage (on two counts) who, by naming his tower PC on the network with the aforementioned Simon’s Tall and also being tall himself was allocated the aforementioned twice moniker of Simon’s Tall - with the apostrophe-ess being used to denote an abbreviation of ‘is’, rather than the originally intented posessive.
Anyone associated with him seems to recieve a moniker by the same template, hence if you look at the comments to this post you will find Fran’s Ovoid with Fran being married to and (until yesterday) bumpy by Simon (we assume - I haven’t heard any rumours to the contrary).
I hope that clears up some of the confusion.
And no, I haven’t received any death threats yet.

Be extra careful when you’re driving home tonight… we wouldn’t want any LITTLE ACCIDENTS to happen would we, goat boy? Hahaha!

Gosh, well wouldn’t you know? Looks like I am a real blogger after all! What a coincidence!

You WILL get death threats unless you restore the link to my blog Stu
(If the Police are reading this then I’m only joking)
Simon and Fran… remember them from your party… well congrats to them..

What’s more after introducing so many people to THE GAME, I would be surprised if he didn’t get death threats…

Aha! I’ve wondered for ages why Simon’s Tall is called Simon’s Tall. Now it all makes sense.

Bah - I was fine with that BBC article until she played the sex card:
“While blogging feuds are common, she believes the campaign against her is more likely to be because she is a woman in the male-dominated technology world. “

Oh and congratulations on the new arrival, Simon and Fran. Should he not be called Adam’s Cockney?

Isn’t that the Bow Bells.
(No idea where St Mary le Bow is in relation to St. Thomas’s which is where I assume the birth took place, being just due east of Big Ben which is really called the tower of westmisnter or somesuch, but I notice is called Big Ben on the A-Z style map used by multimap).

Ok… it’s a good two miles away… I think that’s probably out of earshot.

Pity. Maybe if the wind was in the right direction.

I got as far as “the blogosphere has launched its own investigation” and the word “WANKERS!” got so loud in my brain that I couldn’t hear myself read any further.

Firstly, how dare you me a geek - I’m incensed*!
Secondly, please do not even think about buying me this [http://www.jinx.com/scripts/details.asp?productID=461] outfit, as I have one already.
Thirdly, my parents know that it’s the bell that’s called Big Ben, but if they’d said “in the shadow of St Stephen’s tower,” and you’d known what that meant, you would be too geeky to talk to in the first place!
(St Stephen’s tower** was one of the first things I saw out of the window of St Thomas’ - except unrecognisably blury, ‘cos I can only focus on things about a foot from my nose.)
Fourthly, not Cockney. I’m from Sarf London, not East, like any decent human being would want to be.
Fifthly, my first word will be “maroon”.
Going to bed now. Already asleep.
* Incensed: fancy word for smelling nice.
** Ie, Big Ben.
