Unaccaptable
Sunday 12th August
Just returned from Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival, and I have to say it was absolutely disgusting how some people’s standards drop when they’re given the ‘freedom’ of a festival atmosphere. For example, we were camping near one of the security stations, and at one point three security guards were discussing how they were going to handle the situation where a there had been reports of a camper further up the field using rather coarse language.
And look at the state of the toilets. These pictures were taken at the end of the second evening, and you can clearly see a spot of mud on the floor and someone had left a beer bottle on the side of the sinks. I even had to wait a moment or two until the toilet van was empty so I could take the photos.
To add insult to injury, there was a time of around 15 minutes the following morning when the hot water wasn’t up to temperature and at one point, just before the restocking, I noticed there were only two spare toilet rolls in my cubicle. It could have been mayhem.
I really think they could try harder, don’t you?

There did appear to be someone in there cleaning, all of the time. We just get the toilets we deserve.

I’m an expert on Glastonbury toilets :]
What kind of a festival has toilets like that? Thay’re nicer than in my house - Go to a proper festival next time!!!
