Google Maps API

The Google Maps API is Fun To Play With™
You can create your own custom maps with points, lines, options, popups, all sorts. When I finally make the trip up to the North Cape, I’m definitely going to make something which will take some sort of input from the field (text messages or something) and give live updates. It will look something like this.
Is that pronounced ‘merse’. Sort of?

Hehe… yes merse without the ‘r’. Though, of course, the Swedish chef used to pronounce it ‘myys’ but that looks silly to a non-Scandinavian.

Cool. Hope you get this working, it’ll be interesting to see your progress.
I hope you email your blog updates too so we can keep abreast of things

Google Maps API is great, that’s what I used to start the ill fated “mapping where I’ve walked” map project
