Ok… so I know young children are exempt from fasting, but I’m sure chocolate isn’t really inkeeping with the spirit.

  1. Surely if the sweets aren’t eaten during the fasting hours, then it’s not a problem whatever the age.

  2. Well… I guess so, but since it sort-of has a ‘lent’ feel to it: “refraining from anger, envy, greed, lust, sarcastic retorts, backstabbing, and gossip” I would suggest that chocolates are going against the ‘greed’ thing.
