Slow

Saturday 20th October

So I picked my new* bike up this morning and rode around a bit, visiting the odd cup-of-tea-toting friend/family on the way.

There’s something definitely wrong with the bike, though. It seems very slow. For example, it took me a good 35 minutes to travel 0.9 miles back from a friends’ house to home.

Of course, like on my test day, I did manage to get just a little bit lost on the way.

  2. You obviously got the wrong bike then. If you wanted something that would get you areound quickly you should have got a superbike.

    Something like a CBR 900 Fireblade or a Yamaha YZF 1000 R1.

    You could have got there much faster on one of those, Time for a trade in.

  12. You can use tonight’s juggling club as an excuse to go out on the bike again.

    I’m sure there are plenty of fun roads between Loughborough and Leicester.

  13. I was driving back from Wales on Friday, and a touring bike passed me with a Uni-Cycle strapped on the back - I wondered if it was you, but as you got your bike on Saturday… I guess not.
