The Lady In Red.
What kind of sadist ends an album with The Lady In Red?
So you listen to the mostly acceptable and sometimes very good 80s music, but the last track you hear before you go out/go to bed/whatever is The Lady in Bloody Red and it stays in your head for EVER and can’t even be shifted by Happy Talk or The Cheeky Song or whatever your favourite catchy song is.
Argh.

GAH!
I thought the main problem was that you had The Smiths in there. Razorblade or rope?
(Oh, and CdeB too, natch.)

I had “They’re all good except CdeB, which is crap”, which must be worth half a point?

Well… given a choice of Mr. Lewis or nothing, I’d pick nothing.
But Lewis or DeBurgh? Yes… definitely Lewis.

My problem would be that Queens is in there…. Don;t get me wrong Freddie had such a powerful voice, but weren’t the songs just utter crap…..

I sometimes have an issue with Brian May’s signature guitar (with auto-harmony?) but on the whole, I think I like Queen. I don’t find them objectionable. Nor, fortunately, catchy enough to keep singing - as I do with bloody lady in bloody red.

It’s not just the dreadful Chris de Burgh that’s crap in that list

I got it right! To be fair, it’s at the end so that you can stop the CD one track early. The Now compilers often put the out-of-place/novelty tracks right at the end.

I think the problem is that every track on there is completely naff….even by 80s standards!
