Yale and Hearty
Monday 18th February
So we finished moving H’s stuff in at around 5:00pm on Saturday, and just six and a half hours later - by 11:30pm - I was locked out in the freezing cold street in just my socks*. I was stuck out there for a good couple of hours**.
She first denied all responsibility, and then finally conceded that maybe it was an accident.
I’m not so sure… what do you think?
* that is I was fully clothed except for my feet which had no shoes on… not that I was stark naked apart from socks… that would be very bad
** about 27 seconds in non-exaggerated time
Hmm, is there a pattern emerging? Can you get in at lunchtimes?
In the immortal words of Bush:
Fool me once, shame on me — shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on… can’t get fooled again.

Lunch times are fine, thankfully.
I love that quote… though it does have to have his stupid flustered monkey face saying it for full effect.

Sounds to me like the natural evolution of a relationship…good luck with that!

Sounds suspicious to me…

Well, if H was pointing, laughing, and made a cell phone call as she looked out the window while you were outside . . . it might be considered suspicious! Otherwise, I wouldn’t be too concerned.

That wouldn’t have been when we left, would it?
Perhaps she needed time to clear up the jelly…

Haha… it was when my mum left, Lorry. I went up the road to see them off (having put the door on the latch)… H then saw off her brother and Beckie, thereby auto-cancelling the door latch… I then returned… ah.
There was jelly ALL OVER THE INSIDE OF THE FREEZER after the party. Fortunately, it was still in its boxes.
