Tuesday Challenge #36 – Stop And Think
Friday 13th November
So this week was about stopping and thinking. Making improvements to your picture before pressing the shutter.
There were three entries!
Thanks to everyone who entered! But I think now is the time to bash the challenge on the head. It has been a fun 36 challenges, but out of the last 12, only two have reached double figures of entrants. And I’m very very very busy these days. So apologies for all who enjoy the challenge – but so long, and thanks for all the fish!
Yep, fair enough. I’m too busy to stop and think about taking photos myself so can’t exactly blame you!

Aww, that’s a shame. The Tuesday Challenge provided the inspiration that I lack!
And Edmund will never get his Duke of Edinburgh’s award now!

I know how you feel – I’ve kinda stopped doing the Last DJ because the amount of feedback I got dwindled to almost nothing. Although my very erratic publishing schedule probably didn’t help.

Fair enough – they’ve been great but my life has spiralled out of control and there’s no room for the TC any more. It was great at the time though!

How about setting up a flickr (or similar) group for all us contributors?
Alternatively, someone could volunteer to take over the running of the Tuesday Challenge

I considered making an auto-uploaded version, Hutters but I don’t have the time for web development either. I’m pleased you’re going to keep taking photos!
I have no problems at all with anyone else taking the Tuesday Challenge name and setting up a flickr group or another site… I don’t really use flickr so I’m not your man to set that up!

In principle I’d be happy to take on the responsibility of accepting, collating and uploading entries. After all, I spend enough time fiddling with my own blogs…
But I would struggle with having a decent idea every week – that part would either need to be crowd-sourced (perhaps via an online suggestion box) or done on a less regular and more ad-hoc basis.

I’m probably one of the worst offenders, but the challenges I did certainly made me think about taking pictures. My restricted movement isn’t helping (which is why I haven’t taken part lately) but I think it would be great if Jonathan could do what he’s offered to do, and the suggestion-box for themes is a good idea.
