Well done to all who entered! There are some really nice shots in there.
I’m not sure I’m convinced by the new method of presenting the results though, the thumbnails are all teenytiny!

I don’t want to click! I want them to be big enough to see without clicking! </failing eyesight blog>

A very high standard of photos this week – well done to all.
Sorry Stu, I’m going to have to agree with Paul on this one. I’m not a huge fan of the new picture browser – I quite like having the photos on the same page as the comment box.
It might be pretty for general displaying of work, though. It reminds me strongly of the new Windows 7 screensaver…

I am also resistant to change. All change is inherently bad, except when you need something from a vending machine of course.

aargh – it opened in a new window – what’s going on.
No wait – it looks good.

I like reading the comments and looking at the pictures at the same time. Don’t mind scrolling.
BTW – Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan, Moan…..

I’m intrigued by what limitations are represented by some of the photos.

@Jan I’ll start by explaining that I (watch on blue background) limited myself to a single light source.
I do a lot of “lit” photography, and I took it as an exercise in taking that down to a minimum and making an image with complex lighting – but where the one light source fulfills many roles.
I had a bit of help from the internet, but it’s sparked a number of ideas and I think I’m going to explore product photography.

Thanks for that, Paul.
Without explanations the shots are just random images – some pleasing images, it’s not clear to a dunce like me how they fulfilled the brief.

I have to say that the gallery viewer is truly hideous, and wrong in so many ways. I’ll live with it, but I really don’t like it at all.
Nay say I! Sorry for being such a naysayer, but there you go.
Nice piccies though.

Lovely photos, but I have to agree with the majority here; I don’t like the picture viewer, it requires too much effort to view each photo!
PS apologies for not entering this week, this new Friday thing has thrown me off kilter, i completely forgot about it!
